Promte User Club: Voicebot, Guardrails and large-scale projects

The meeting was held on 22/05/2026

Thank you for another good meeting in the Promte User Club. This time, we followed up on new and upcoming features in Promte, shared experience from municipal use and discussed how we can jointly strengthen the shared municipal library with solutions that create value across municipalities.

You can watch the recording from the user club meeting above if you want the full walkthrough, see the demos and hear the discussions from the meeting.

At the meeting, Promte gave a status on a number of new and upcoming features. Updates were presented on Voicebot, Guardrails, KommuneTV integration, iframe workspaces, improved meeting minutes, browser extension for specialist systems, tools in assistants and the option to share conversations.

An important theme was how Promte can be used more integrally in municipalities' existing workflows. This applies to specialist systems, meetings, telephone service and quality assurance of AI use.

Voicebot: AI in telephone service

Voicebot was presented as an upcoming area with significant potential. The idea is to make it possible to support telephone service with AI, so citizens and employees can get faster help in selected situations.

At the same time, it was emphasised that Voicebot requires thorough clarification and setup in relation to the concrete telephone systems before the solution can run robustly in operation.

Guardrails: Safer use of AI

Guardrails was a central topic at the meeting. The function is intended to help organisations use AI more safely, including by warning against personal data and other sensitive information.

Christian also demonstrated how Guardrails can be used outside Promte. That opened an important discussion about how municipalities can work with security, governance and responsible AI use across tools and platforms.

There will be a separate webinar about Guardrails, where the function will be reviewed in more detail.

Meeting minutes, browser extension and new workflows

The meeting minutes function was also shown. The demo included upload of audio files, speaker attribution without biometric voice recognition, editing, export to Word, full transcription and the option to continue chatting with the minutes.

The browser extension for specialist systems was also discussed as a way to bring AI closer to the work processes where employees already are.

Good stories from municipalities: Faxe Municipality

Merete from Faxe Municipality shared experience from their work with assistants, workshops, governance and development of concrete solutions. One particularly exciting point was that two assistants are now on their way to being converted into apps.

The two solutions are:

  1. An app for political agenda items
  2. An app for preliminary assessment of adult apprentice subsidies in employment services

Both solutions need further testing and refinement before they can potentially be shared in a more generic form in the shared municipal library.

Breakout rooms: What should be shared in the municipal library?

In breakout rooms, participants discussed which solutions deserve a place in the shared municipal library. The discussions covered sharing cleaned-up assistants and apps, meeting minutes templates, procurement processes and the need for easier training in building assistants.

Ideas were also raised for an assistant that can help users find relevant solutions in the library.

What does the future bring?

Finally, we looked ahead to upcoming activities and development tracks.

Promte is sending out an invitation to a webinar about Guardrails, where municipalities can get a more detailed walkthrough of the function. In addition, work continues on large-scale projects, including AI-supported documentation in employment services.

Work also continues on an online learning universe that will make it easier for employees and organisations to get started well with Promte and get more out of the platform.

Thank you for a good user club meeting

Thank you to everyone who participated, asked questions and contributed experience and ideas. The user club is an important forum for shared learning, product development and knowledge sharing across municipalities.

If you have assistants, apps or meeting minutes templates that could be relevant to other municipalities, Promte would very much like to hear from you. The goal is to build on good experience and make it easier to share solutions that already work in practice.
